Arain Systems is a security and compliance practice for small Houston offices that cannot absorb a breach or a failed exam: tax and financial firms under the FTC Safeguards Rule, and independent medical practices under HIPAA.

I am Hammad Arain, the founder. I have spent six years in IT, including healthcare, oil and gas, and a managed service provider serving banks and financial institutions, the kind of regulated environments where the documentation matters as much as the wiring. Every engagement is built around hands-on setup of multi-factor authentication, endpoint detection and response, encrypted offsite backup with tested recovery, and email security with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and I write and maintain the written information security program that ties them to the rule.

What if something happens to me? Fair question for a solo shop. Everything I do is documented in a runbook you keep, and your accounts, passwords, and backups stay in your name. That means any competent IT provider can pick up where I left off, and you can leave anytime and take everything.
